Terms of membership
Last updated: November 2026
These terms explain how The Flip Method membership works, what you get, what we expect from you and what happens if something goes wrong. Please read them before you join. By joining, you agree to them.
Who we are
This website and the membership are run by The Flip Method, a UK business. You can reach us at hello@theflipmethod.co.uk.
In these terms, "The Flip Method", "we", "us" and "our" mean us. "You" means the person who joins the membership.
You can contact us at any time at hello@theflipmethod.co.uk.
What the membership includes
The Flip Method is a monthly digital membership for people who want to learn and grow a reselling business. While your membership is active, it includes:
- an 8-module online course covering Vinted, eBay, TikTok live auctions and setting up your reselling business
- deal alerts for Vinted and eBay, posted in the members' Discord server
- weekly live breakdowns
- access to the members' Discord community
- access to wholesale stock at trade prices once you have completed the course
We are working on alerts for Facebook Marketplace and store restocks. These are planned features and are not part of the membership until we announce that they are live.
We may improve, update or reorganise the content and features from time to time. If we make a change that substantially reduces what you get, we will tell you in advance and you can cancel before it takes effect.
Eligibility
You must be 18 or over to join. By joining, you confirm that you are.
The course, alerts and community are available wherever Whop accepts your payment. Wholesale stock is only available to members with a UK delivery address.
Membership and billing
Your membership is sold and managed through Whop, which handles payment, your account and access to the course. When you pay, you also agree to Whop's own terms and privacy policy.
The membership costs £49.99 per month, unless a different price was shown to you at checkout. Your first payment is taken when you join, and your membership then renews automatically every month on the same date until you cancel. Each renewal is charged to the payment method you used with Whop.
If a payment fails, Whop may try again. If payment cannot be taken, your access may be paused or ended until the balance is paid.
We may change the monthly price. If we do, we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email or through Whop before the new price applies to you. If you do not want to pay the new price, you can cancel before it takes effect.
Cancelling your membership
You can cancel at any time through your Whop account. You do not need to give a reason.
When you cancel, you will not be charged again. Your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, and then it ends. We do not give partial refunds for the remainder of a month, except under our 7-day money-back guarantee below or where the law requires it.
If you need help cancelling, email us at hello@theflipmethod.co.uk and we will help.
Our double guarantee
We offer two guarantees. They are in addition to your legal rights, not instead of them.
7-day money-back guarantee
If the membership is not for you, ask for a refund within 7 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full. No questions asked.
- The guarantee applies to your first payment only. It does not apply to renewal payments or to a second membership if you rejoin later.
- To ask for a refund, email us at hello@theflipmethod.co.uk from the email address you used to join, within 7 days of your first payment.
- We will refund you to your original payment method through Whop. Refunds usually appear within 5 to 10 working days, depending on your bank.
- When we refund you, your membership ends and your access to the course, alerts, community and wholesale stock stops.
First Sale Promise
We want you to make your first sale quickly. If you put in the work and still have not made a single sale within 30 days of joining, your next month is free.
To qualify, within 30 days of joining you must:
- complete the business setup and listing modules of the course
- list at least 15 items for sale on a reselling platform
If you have done both and have not made any sale in that 30-day period, you can claim. These conditions apply:
- You must claim within 14 days after your 30-day window ends, by emailing us at hello@theflipmethod.co.uk.
- You must provide reasonable evidence, such as screenshots of your listings and your sales history for the period.
- Your membership must be active when you claim and when the free month is applied.
- There is one claim per person.
- The promise is given as a free month of membership (a credit against your next payment). It is not paid as cash and cannot be exchanged for money.
The First Sale Promise is a promise about our service. It is not a promise that you will earn any particular amount.
Your legal right to cancel
Under UK consumer law, you normally have 14 days to cancel a contract for digital content. However, because the membership gives you instant access to digital content, when you join you ask us to give you access straight away and you agree that you lose this 14-day cancellation right once access begins.
Our 7-day money-back guarantee still applies, so you can still get a full refund of your first payment if you ask within 7 days.
Your licence to use the course
The course, live breakdowns, alerts and other materials belong to us or the people we license them from. While your membership is active, we give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own learning and your own reselling business.
You must not:
- share your login, or let anyone else use your account
- copy, record, download, resell, redistribute or publish any of the content, in full or in part
- use the content to create a competing course, community or alert service
If you break these rules, we may end your membership. See "Ending your membership" below.
Wholesale access
Members can buy wholesale stock at trade prices once these conditions are met:
- you have completed all 8 modules of the course
- you are 18 or over
- you have a UK delivery address
- your membership is active
Wholesale access lasts only while you are subscribed. If your membership ends, so does your access to wholesale stock.
Stock is subject to availability. Lines, quantities and prices change regularly and we cannot guarantee that a particular item will be available. Wholesale orders may have their own terms, such as delivery, returns and minimum orders, which will be shown at checkout and will apply to that order.
We do not guarantee that any wholesale stock will sell, or what price it will sell for. Resale value depends on the market, the platform and how you list it.
Discord community rules
The Discord server is a place for members to learn, share and help each other. To keep it that way, you agree to:
- be respectful to other members and to our team
- not spam, flood channels or post off-topic content repeatedly
- not sell, advertise or promote anything without our permission
- not share alerts, or any other content from the server, outside the server
- not harass, bully, threaten or discriminate against anyone
- follow Discord's own terms and community guidelines
We may remove posts, mute members or remove members from the server if they break these rules. For serious or repeated breaches, we may end your membership without a refund.
Deal alerts
Alerts are notifications only. When we post an alert, we are pointing out a listing or deal we think may be worth a look. You decide whether to buy, and you make any purchase yourself, directly on the marketplace.
Alerts are provided "as is". We do not guarantee:
- that there will be a certain number of alerts, or any deals at all
- how quickly alerts are posted
- that the information in an alert is accurate or up to date
- that an item will still be available when you see the alert
- that a listing or seller is genuine
You buy at your own risk. Always check the item, the listing, the seller and the price yourself before you buy. We have no access to your marketplace accounts and we cannot buy, cancel or return anything on your behalf.
Third-party platforms
The course teaches you to sell on platforms such as Vinted, eBay, TikTok and Facebook. Each platform has its own terms, fees and rules. You are responsible for reading and following them, including rules about what you can sell and how you describe items.
The Flip Method is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Vinted, eBay, TikTok, Facebook, Discord or Whop. Their names are used only to describe the platforms covered by the membership.
No guarantee of earnings
We teach methods that have worked for us, but we cannot promise that you will make money. Your results depend on your own effort, time, money, skill and market conditions. Please read our earnings disclaimer for more detail.
Tax
You are responsible for your own tax, including registering with HMRC if you need to, keeping records and paying any tax due on your reselling income.
Any information about tax in the course is general information to help you understand the basics. It is not tax advice. If you are unsure about your own position, speak to an accountant or contact HMRC.
Ending your membership
We may suspend or end your membership if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, for example by sharing your login, redistributing our content or breaking the community rules. Where it is reasonable, we will warn you first and give you a chance to put things right.
If we end your membership because you have broken these terms, we will not refund any payment for the current period. If we end the membership for any other reason, we will refund any amount you have paid for a period you will not receive.
Our responsibility to you
If we break these terms or fail to use reasonable care and skill, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it was obvious it would happen, or if we both knew it might happen when you joined.
We are not responsible for:
- loss or damage that was not foreseeable
- business losses, such as lost profit, lost sales or lost business opportunities, because the membership is provided for your personal learning
- losses caused by the actions of marketplaces, sellers, buyers, couriers or other third parties
- losses from purchases you make after seeing an alert, or from stock that does not sell
- problems caused by events outside our reasonable control
Where the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim connected with the membership is limited to the total fees you paid us in the 3 months before the event that led to the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer. For example, digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, for example to reflect new features, changes in the law or changes to how we run the membership. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last updated.
If we make a significant change that affects you, we will tell you by email or through Whop before it takes effect. If you do not agree with the change, you can cancel your membership before it applies.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and the courts of Scotland have jurisdiction over any dispute.
If you live in England, Wales or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts, and you keep the protection of the consumer laws that apply where you live.
Contact us
If you have a question about these terms, your membership or a refund, email us at hello@theflipmethod.co.uk. We aim to reply within one working day.
